I will be holding an ‘Axe on Everest 2012’ public presentation evening at Harry’s bar on boat quay on 28 June 2012.

Admission is free, first come first served. Be there from 7PM.

We will be holding a raffle on the night for some great prizes:

– A one year gold membership from CITYGOLF

–  Free UFIT bootcamp sessions

–  Climb with Axe sessions

ALL PROCEEDS to the TARANAKI RESCUE HELICOPTER TRUST

I look forward to seeing you there for a great evening and a few drinks!

    Hi Axe, have a great night at Harry,s Bar and would love to be there but miles away. How do people keep in touch with you should you have other adventures/goals in the near future? Would it be climbforhope? Enjoyed reading your blogs and will miss them, bit boring now! Was eager to get up in morning to read them. I have a sad life indeed! Anyway have a good rest, a great night!       Hi Mica! I am also a little sad as the reality sets in that a ten year journey is over. I almost cant believe that I have done it. It seems like a different person already up there! Yes this is my permanent website which I use for all my climbs so you can stay tuned here for the next trip. Sorry you cant come to the presentation! If I am ever in your part of the world maybe I can do one there!

        I lived in the UK for two years awhile back Kate so I do remember it gets it fair share of rain!

        Yes I saw Alan is in Peru so I hope they are having a successful climb.

        I am busy meeting my next challenge which is to hit a goal I set myself in fundraising for the Taranaki Helicopter Rescue Trust.

        Thanks for reply. We have had a particularly wet summer and no chance to spend time in the garden. I have spent time in Singapore and Australia and I know which climate I would prefer. Alan managed his climb in Peru but I can’t find any news about the Colorado fires but I expect Alan would have hot footed home if he thought there was a problem with his home.Bad news for a great many people. Your talks seem to be going down well. You mentioned a new challenge, are you keeping it quiet for the time being or are you going to tell us what’s in your mind. It will be great to follow you on a new adventure. Cheers for the time being Kate
